A Letter From the Regent

Welcome to the official website of the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter NSDAR. We are the oldest and largest DAR chapter in Indiana. As Regent of the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter, I invite all interested women to consider membership!

If you are at least 18 years old, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background and can prove lineal descent from a man or woman who served or aided the American cause during the Revolutionary War, you are eligible. Discover how you can join the DAR by following the links on our website or contacting us directly. We are always happy to assist you in completing your DAR application or search for a qualified ancestor. Children under 18 years old who can prove lineal descent may become members of Children of the American Revolution Society (C.A.R).

The DAR and the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter members are patriots, volunteers, and preservationists. The chapter offers many opportunities to volunteer focused on the founding principles of DAR – patriotism, education and historic preservation. With over 55 chapter committees, there is truly something for everyone! We support local veterans, promote literacy, and preserve cemeteries just to name a few activities.

We look forward to hearing from you today!

Best Regards,

Jennifer Jackson Capps, Regent
