Education

Educating the youth of America is one of the three main focus areas of the DAR. Our organization encourages the education of children and supports a variety of programs, contests, and awards to help foster this goal.

The DAR also offers resources for teachers, which include lesson plans on topics such as the Revolutionary War, the United States government, history, and genealogy, and more. Teachers and students are encouraged to explore these resources, which can be located at https://www.dar.org/national-society/education.

Please watch this video for an overview of what DAR does to promote Education.
