Scholarships - Chapter

Scholarships are awarded annually by the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter, NSDAR, as well as the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

The Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter, NSDAR, offers two scholarships, The Caroline Scott Harrison Scholarship and the Vice Presidents General Scholarship.  Both scholarships have residency requirements and require an essay of 1,500-2,000 words.  The deadline for applications is February 1.  Instructions, essay topic, and application can be found below.

Scholarships - NSDAR

Each year the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of higher education in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English.  NSDAR’s scholarships are awarded and judged without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, or disability.

Online applications are accepted November 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm (Hawaii Time). You can find more information on the NSDAR Scholarships here: https://www.dar. org/national-society/scholarships.
